Homemade Gift Basket Ideas

We purchased a large basket and put in candy, microwave popcorn, a Block Buster gift certificate, all kinds of snack items and then tied it up with a nice bow.

Our special Appreciation Gift Basket was presented to the pastor on the first Pastor Appreciation Sunday.

Pastor Appreciation Gift Theme

We had a different pastor appreciation gift theme each Sunday of Pastor Appreciation Month. One week we honored the pastor and his family with an old fashion food pounding. On another Sunday we continued the gift giving theme with a pastor's love offering.

On the final Pastor Appreciation Month Sunday all the kids in the church made pastor appreciation cards and gifts and gave them to the Pastor and his wife. It was a great month.

Editor's note: I have discovered that sometimes a new career can begin with even a simple activity like making homemade gift baskets for the pastor appreciation emphasis.

Usually someone will quip "You ought to go into business making gift baskets". Then I discovered that Sherry Miller has written a how to ebook on starting a Gift Basket Business.

Start Your Own Gift Basket Business

Perhaps the best homemade gift basket idea would be that someone started a Gift Giving Business venture simply by honoring their pastor.
