Better Yourselves With A Good EducationCollege Education was very important to our Pastor.He continually said: "Get your education, go to college and better yourselves with a good education!" When our church honored our pastor, we celebrated what is so special to us as he ministers to various people in our congregation. Focus On Godly Character QualitiesTops on the list was his character qualities that reflect his personal faith. Here are some of those qualities that are meaningful to people -- loving, compassionate, patience, encouraging.Encouraging Our Youth To Attend CollegeIt was that quality of encouragement that we especially focused on. He was always encouraging our children to continue their education. Because he focused so much on our youth getting their education, many have gradulated from college.We chose a favorite saying of our pastor to highlight throughout our pastor appreciation event and the one he was fond of saying was this: "There's nothing impossible for God so do your best!" |
