Every year at the beginning of the October Pastor Appreciation Month, the Pastor's Support Ministry at my church (Mariners' Temple Baptist Church, NYC) sponsors a prayer brunch in recognition of our pastor.

This special prayer celebration is extended to her ministerial staff as well. (She says that she could not do this ministry without her team.)

Prayer Brunch Program Details

We invite a special speaker to our Pastor Appreciation Prayer Event and include special music too.

This a time where we as a local church "bathe them in prayer".

We use various prayer acronyms as a way to organize our devotional thoughts and work in our prayers to reflect their ministry.

After the devotionals and prayer reflection by our guest speaker we enjoy our special brunch. After we eat we go continue with special prayers to conclude the program.

This prayer ministry to our pastor and church staff has been a blessing as we witness their joy and appreciation.
