Resources for Pastor Appreciation will include one of the most influential Champions of Pastor Appreciation, Dr. H.B. London, Jr. I am leaving in a few hours to attend a Christian men's retreat for whom HB will be the featured speaker. I hope to spend some time with him to discuss Pastor Appreciation and to pick his brain for ideas and resources churches can use to offer encouragement to their pastor. On that particular page there is a pertinent quote from Dr. London expressing the reasons for expressing pastor appreciation.

Those are unrealistic expectations to place on anyone, yet most of us are disappointed when a pastor becomes overwhelmed, seems depressed, lets us down or completely burns out.
